Some years ago, Brooklin did a nice replica of the ‘59 DeSoto Adventurer. While it didn’t have the current level of chrome detai, and some collectors have added chrome with foil, the casting was incredibly authentic as these pictures show. Beautiful car, beautiful model. I have not added any chrome to the model.

For its BRK era this DeSoto was finished very well.
Interesting that long ago Western Models did the 1959 Desoto Adventurer as well. Here is it with a conversion to a four door hardtop and the Brooklin 1959 station wagon.

A nice wagon was done based on the Adventurer, first in Surf Green, then a two tone Pearl White over Tan Poly.

@jack-dodds The one in David's pics. is one of the last 60 made with separate chrome wipers and door handles and blackwash grille. These were produced after the BCC 2005 version which had these mods. except for the twin ariels.

Thanks John!
Interesting. Here is one on eBay that does not have the chrome wipers and door handles (top) as compared to the ones in that last run of 60 copies (bottom). I never knew there were different versions. Now I see the difference between Keko Romero’s model (a previous post above) and that last run of 60. Either way it’s a beautiful model.
