…and leave the driving to us.”

A few years ago Corgi produced a series of the’54-55 GM Greyhound Scenicruiser bus of which 1001 were built by GM for Greyhound only. They were done in 1:50 scale and were offered in buses with six different destinations in three versions, the first followed by two reworks involving engine replacements and then structural repairs as the bodies were developing structural cracks.  I have all six destinations, Boston, Chicago Express, Montreal, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington D. C. plus one done after market for Dallas.

Nice David!  It will be interesting to see how the upcoming Goldvarg buses turn out.

That looks really good and these certainly could be seen going down the interstate highways. I have a couple of images of similar big GM Scenicruisers. One is a Goldvarg prototype and the other is one that my younger brothers originally had.

Yes it will, Jack, and these will be in true 1:43. And Mike, I had one of those Tootsie Toy models which actually was nicely done for the era.

Thanks, David ! Yes, I think it is a Tootsietoy and it is nicely done replica from back then of the big Greyhound interstate bus.

Nice comparison pictures and writeup David. I have the Philadelphia in my collection. I have always thought the Scenic Cruiser was the best-looking post war bus .
