Minialuxe was a French company established in 1954 and specialized in plastic models of cars, mainly French of various eras. Company went out of business in 1978. In 2013 Minialuxe brand was resurrected by Marc Faujanet owner of Passion 43rd, a magazine specializing in 1:43 model cars. Company is based in France, but production is located in China.
These early models were made of plastic and well done. The earliest eras have been shared here. Here are two of my Jaguar E-Types, a roadster and a coupe.
These I believe were made in the early 1970s. They are quite authentic looking for the times and have aged very well.

The E-Type Jaguar is one of my favorite cars of all time. Strangely, I have never had a model of one.

What are you waiting for Ed ? And do you like the convertible or coupe ? I like both. Makes me sad that I sold my Monogram 1/8th scale unbuilt model.

The E-Type is my all time favorite car.
In this diorama pic are all my E-Type models: Series 1 white and green by Century Dragon; Serie 3 red and black by Auto Art; and another S1 in dark grey by Ixo.

Wow David; they have stood the test of time well. As much as I have always loved the E-Type, I own precious few models of the car. I have Franklin Mint's version of the roadster and the coupe but was nver satisfied with it. I had a couple of them by Maisto or Bburago but, again, not satisfied. For 1/43rd scale, I own and love Norev's red roadster. Some nice 1?18ths out there but pricey and not all are left hand drive which is my preference. Norev:
