Just another miserable day with crappy weather out and no mood to work on any of my project cars in the toy room. Tired of tv and the governor of New York on all the channels. At least my governor only does a half hour every day and it isn't spread across every news channel. Even tired of reading and playing games on my Kindle. Can't work in the addition that we are adding to the house. No access to the room yet. Waiting for my cataract surgery next month so until then I can't see worth a damn. Cooking and baking I like to do. Made a strawberry pie for Easter but am in no mood for that either. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO???????

LOL.....Those days are long gone for this body even with a splitter. What I did was got me gas logs. Looks the same, puts out the same heat and NO work involved.

Hang in there, Tom. The surgery is worth the wait. I could see the difference immediately. Well, just as soon as they took the pad off my eye. And now, ten or so years later, the improvement is still there. And building the models is even harder, because now I can see the detailing that I was missing before, doggone it.

Same here Tom. One eye down, one to go (someday).

Will be glad when I don't have to keep wearing the one remaining contact lens.

Hopefully today is a new day and better weather! You could...

... get a dog (or borrow ours!)- that will make you get out and go for a walk, even in crappy weather. 😉

It seems to be winter again here in Indy - the heat is on full blast and its 11am already. Overcast yesterday but the sun is peaking out now.

Look for the little things in life - today: this is not a vase, this is not a photo of a vase. This is a photo of a reflection of a vase!

We have yet to get a spring here in Taxachusetts (the land where non-working single mothers are wealthier than the hard working guy who works 80 hours a week, but that is another Maury Povich show)

It has been raining here off and (mostly) on for the past 3 months.

I was scheduled to have the surgery in March but postponed it because of the virus and I thought it was elective surgery. Should have had it done then.

Been wearing glasses since I went into the military. Could never get into wearing contacts. Doc says after I have both eyes done I won't need glasses for the most part.

Interesting photo. It's like going to a shrink and looking at pics. Today is a much better day. Chilly but sunny with few clouds in the sky. Still need that vacation though. Haven't been to the Caribbean in a few years. Miss climbing Dunns Falls, diving in the Caymen Ils, hitting up the jewelry shops on Front St in Philipsburg, hitting the rum distilleries on the various islands, deep sea fishing for marlin, and seeing places we haven't been before

Yes Tom! there is NOTHING good in this state! I don't agree with the voters, don't like the weather, the state and local police are corrupt, everything is expensive because there is a large group of the population in Boston that have high paying jobs and everything is priced to THEIR incomes!
The wealthy and the women on welfare are at the top of the food chain, and the people who bust their butts at work 365 days a year feed on the scraps!
Man I wish I could get pregnant! I would be living in the lap of luxury in this welfare ridden state!
Now back to the little cars!
