Just received Matrix MX50201-082 Bentley 8-Litre roadster by Dottridge Brothers (Chassis YX5125).
Chassis YX5125 was the last 8-liter chassis made before the Bentley bankruptcy in 1931. It was bodied in the 1950's and is considered one of the most attractive 8-litre Bentleys. Following a complete restoration it achieved various awards, including 1st in class at Pebble Beach in 1995. In 1998 it was sold for about 3/4 of a million dollars by Christie's.
I really like the low-slung look of the car - reminds one of something Cruella de Ville might drive though!

"Cruella"? You mean, Lauren Bacall, right?
....."you know how to do that, right Steve? You put your lips together and blow".
With a 144 in wheelbase, this car oozes class and balance....
A mini beast!
It does have a "film noir" air about it.
+1 Gorgeous!
