I bought their 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne in police car livery to fit into a 1960s emergency services diorama planned for final exhibition of my collection and I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The lustre finish was excellent, no fat pieces of silvered plastic on the fittings and well 'shadowed' grille and hubs. Regarding exact proportions, I couldn't say as I'm not too familiar with the 1:1.
I am presently thinking of buying a Rolls Royce from them which all looks good, but there is an issue with the scuttle cowl being silver when it should in fact match the bonnet - so I would be aware of model design issues, aside from their good quality finish.
I have 2 Kess models: a 1960 Desoto 4 dr sedan and a 1959 Buick 4 dr htp. I find Kess to be very sporadic in their American car releases. They seem to release a number of models and then go dormant.I believe the 1959 Buick was the last American car that they released. That was back in May 2022. Overall, I am happy with the 2 that I have although their price point may be slightly high. I would rate their detail below Goldvarg but somewhere above Altaya. Most of their American car releases seem to be 4 dr sedans and wagons.Seldom convertibles or 2 dr hardtops. They issued a 1971 Olds 98 4 dr htp some time ago which I wish I had purchased. It is extremely hard to find now and prices have been in the stratosphere on the Bay.
I learned about Kess when they started to bring out Alfas in approx. 2013. I thought were comparable to Matrix and Neo in price and quality. They did some 'normal' 4-door Alfa sedans and an ARNA, sorta strange common-place stuff.
Then some cool 50s.60s stuff.
They started doing one a year, it seems, until 2021... and have not seen any Alfas since then.
Kess got the '61 Dodge Dart Phoenix sedan wrong. The stainless trim on the model's flank should extend nearly to the leading edge of the front door. A disappointing effort.

That wasn't Kess it was a NEO effort, thankfully corrected on their later light blue version.
Im not a fan of Kess at all. Had the Rita Hayworth car but sold it because of poor quality. Had the DeSoto and the window trim kept popping loose. John Q was able to rescue it for his collection. They were both good looking models, just had quality issues. I won't buy any more from Kess.
