Hello Karl, do you know if the blue Lincoln C. III at hobbydb is for sale, or is it there for public interest? I've never understood what that site was all about - though I'm a signed-up member - and following your post here, have written to them to find out if one can buy it. But have at least for now, just received an automated response. Any advise you may have would be much appreciated.
Incidentally, I saw a 1968 ('69?) Eldorado in banana yellow with black vinyl roof by these guys once. They're made by Mike Murray at Illustra, for this guy in the states - Legendary Motorcars - but it seems from Mike that he is not wanting to continue even with small runs, but obviously still holds the copyrights : (
I am not familiar with Legendary Motorcars. Do you know when these models were produced? Also, are they white metal or resin?

Hey, Charles. I am a volunteer curator at hobbyDB (as well as Harvey). They aim to be a database (DB) of all collectibles - a website that compliments someplace like eBay. You can go to either place to see what is missing from your collection butt eBay could have a 100 copies of the exact same thing (think Hot Wheels or Matchbox). To help support the site, they also do sales. Each item will have an icon/photo on the page that says one is for sale (if there is one), so this blue one is just part of the DB. Bottom-line, it is a research tool for collectors and/or a database to hold all their collection.
As a curator, I ask people who post old or unusual diecast, resin, and white metal if I can use their photo in a post. Sorta like an 'historian of 1/43'! That's how the blue one got there. I put a lot of my Tekno there. I also added all of David H's RAMI collection and all my Marklin RAK collection. Hope this helps explain!
Almost purchased the blue one when these first came out, but was advised to wait for the maroon one, which came out soon after. Glad I did, but really this model looks good in just about any color!

As an FYI, I have a Mark III on order made by GIM (not GLM). And it's in "Pick your feet in Poughkeepsie" brown too! I'll be looking for French license decals after it arrives....
@karl Hi Karl, all my thanks for taking the trouble to explain. Now it all makes sense. I did see your present avatar alongside the poster's Sorta name and thought you might be able to help.

Hello Harv', I have a copy of FYP's Nubar Gulbenkien 1952 R.R. Silver Wraith and until I found this last year, had thought FYP had gone the way of all things, years ago. Google searches revealed only Michel Hemard's Galerie Mini-Autos and now I search for GIM and find only GLM results. If you would have some sort of web-link or, better still, e-mail address I'd be very grateful. Beaucoup remerciements ; )
GIM: Legacy has several listed: Did you see them? They were talked about in the previous version of this forum...
And, MAR Online had this article.
Thank-you Karl for providing a link to this very interesting article. As the present thread suggests, the Lincoln Continental MkIII is ripe material to forward a new brand on the market as there are so few 1/43 options available.
@mg-harv Hello Harv' thanks for your reply, I've written to Legacy to ask after your Lincoln model - will wait and see.
On the subject of GLM and GIM I've just read your earlier post and see that I also got confused between your FYI and the FYP who made the Silver Wraith I mentioned in my response. An error on my part compounded by your mention of French license plates, given FYP is/was a French modeller.

Made for a US company by Illustra in England, so white metal. Many years ago... I am guessing 1980s-90s??? See https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/subjects/legendary-motorcars-brand
