I used to collect Lincoln models as Henry Leland's creations. But all these models have been sold to date. There's probably a couple of models left.

Cadillac is most important! Smile

Much comes down to politics - a dirty subject these days - Lincoln: Democrat; good taste. Cadillac: Republican; blousey.  In my humble opinion, Henry Leland would have had more affinity with Henry Ford, than Alfred P. Sloane. How about a nice 1917 Lincoln?

One of the tenets of the forums is that we leave politics and anything that is not suitable for work to other venues.

Cadillac and Lincoln needed design improvements in the early 20s. Sloan coped with this (attracting Harley Earl as well), Leland did not have time.
But we deviated from Legendary Motorcars Smile

I like the car, but it's not Cadilac. Although this is not much different from the Cadillac of those years.

@vlad-srk Please keep your Cadillacs rolling, Vlad. I hope you understand I am only trying to widen the early 1/43 U.S. auto history base.  I am already thrilled to have your 1918 Cadillac!!

@charles-rockett, it's an amazing model. And...I think Vlad may still have one left. It's an incredible value.

@jkuvakas  French postal services aside, I have one winging its way to me as I type - compliments of Vlad.   Somewhere, Vlad and I have exchanged our views of admiration for Henry Leland and his paramount importance in automotive engineering, (hence the little exchange)  So at this point - as you recommend - I eagerly await the arrival of Vlad's new Cadillac project.
