So, as you know, I picked up the Mach One Models Stapp Jupiter the other day which got me to digging in to learn more about this model company and the land speed record car itself. Well, you know how you can quickly go down a rabbit hole when you're on the internet...
I came across an English auction site from 2022 that listed a whole bunch of LSR and race cars that must have been amassed by a very dedicated collector. I've heard of a few of the brands (Western, Bizarre) but most were unknown to me. Check 'em out:
Great stuff 👍

These are extraordinary, Randy. Did you leave any for the rest of us?
An overwhelmed 3 words Randy - O M G !
Guys, to be clear, I didn't buy any of these (other than the Jupiter). If I had, you would have been reading my obituary and the coverage of my wife's trial for my "mysterious" cause of death.
These pics were all taken from an auction listing from 2022. Sad to say, but I paid a lot more for my Jupiter than the person who got the same one in this 2022 auction.
Most all of these models were unknown to me until the last couple days. But now I'm tempted to see if I can find a few, especially the really oddball ones.

Thanks for the totally unneeded explanation - my exclamation still stands - LOL! I'm in awe of the models but even happier that (1) you're still breathing and (2) the Mrs does not need a barrister!
Astounding what has been, or is, produced in 43rd scale!

Excellent survival instincts on your part Randy....lol.
Extremely interesting presentation of racing cars!
I was that kid who was a fan of Art Arfons and his Green Monster instead of pretty boy Craig Breedlove and his stylized streamliner, just like I preferred Rat Fink to Mickey Mouse. Glad to see the Monster in your posts.

AMAZING Randy. We would have missed your posts had these been yours.
Those all look absolutely sensational ! What an impressive series of very high-speed automobiles. If one needs some groceries from the store, any one of these would get them EXTREMELY fast .......!
