All, I headed up to Elkhart, IN yesterday for my semi-annual pilgrimage to the RV/MH Hall of Fame museum to add more camper models to the display cases. I was able to move just enough stuff around to squeeze in about 50 more pieces in 1:64, 1:43, and 1:18. And fortunately, the museum's director has agreed to buy two more display cases, so later this fall I'll plan a two-day trip to rearrange everything. It's gotten a bit congested and disorganized when any open space will do!
While this isn't a 1:43, it's a well-done 1:64 from Tomy. John Kuliak turned me on to this brand and they've made several campers. It features a sliding side door (mechanism is on the chassis).
Here's the camping trailer with the new awning fashioned by John Quilter. Thanks again, John!
And here are the six cases updated with my latest donations.
A most impressive representation of our hobby, Randy. Nice job!
