3 Lincoln Zephyrs

At the back is the '37 by Neo, left front is my recently acquired '40 by Brooklin, and front right is the vintage Dinky Toy, likely a '39 based on the vertical grille bars. Same basic shape through the years, see the progression:

Nice comparison Harvey. I always thought the Zephyr coupe was an outstanding automotive design.

I have the other two, but the Dinky is new to me. I've not seen that one before.

@jcarnutz Initially issued in 1939, it was reissued postwar and lasted from 1946 to 1950. Not bad shape for 70 years old.

@bob-jackman I agree. I've always liked business coupes but the Zephyr is particularly dramatic.

It does look good. I can honestly say, that until the last few years here on D4C and 1/43 pages on Facebook. I really didn't know anything about Dinky models. I am not sure how I missed out on them, but only that, prior to 2012, I didn't pay much attention to 1/43 as a whole.

Now they are pretty much my main focus.

Dinky issued six American cars in 1938-39, reissued postwar. Here are all six.

Did not see this post before. Does the Durham Classics 1938 Lincoln Zephyr coupe even with the lack of chrome would be a nice price of consolation instead to have the BRK 1940 Lincoln Zephyr coupe Maroon?

The BRK 1940 Lincoln in Maroon is practically infound now in USA or Canada. I missed the last one in stock on the Brooklin site. The Lincoln will be rebuilt but there is no release date to say when the Lincoln will be back in stock. Hope it will be sooner than later.
