Guys, you know my passion for campers. Well, I was recently able to snag a near pristine example of the Marklin Wohnwagen Eriba for a very good price. However, it is missing the plastic canopy.
Now, I already know how I can set it up at the museum where it won't even show that it's missing; however, I'm a completist and would love to have a replacement canopy. Anybody know where I can find an original one (or a reproduction one)?
@randyrusk Hi Randy I am not aware that there is a reproduction canopy available for this caravan. But if anyone proves me wrong I would be delighted as I am in the same position as yourself in that I have one of these caravan's also without its canopy!

Sorry I can't help you Randy; I'm far from a 1/43 expert, but like you I too am a "completist." I want every piece that was factory included with each & every replica. Period. And if something is missing, it's a next-level stress or a code red situation for sure.
However, fabricating that canopy, so it appears, would be relatively easy ....as a last resort. Would you consider that or is that just not acceptable?

Randy, Email me. I could reproduce a replacement for this if I had dimensions and other attachment details. This is the sort of model crafting I do. jquilter{at}peoplepc(dot).com
