Looking for info on SpecialC brand
Esteemed colleagues,
Does anyone know about SpecialC? It's fairly cheap diecast, seems to be one of the sub-brands of PCT (along with IXO, Whitebox, PremiumX, and various partworks). The box and the model's base don't have any identification.

Remainder part work models
Many of these even come in bubble capsules from magazines. Having said that cheap and often the same casting as used on part work or from Whitebox etc at greater cost.

And just to add ...
SpecialC isn't actually a brand as such - it's a collective name used by one particular retailer to refer to the excess stock partworks models left over from collections made for publishers like DeAgostini, Altaya, Eaglemoss, etc.
And yes, the vast majority of these models are made by PCT from tooling made for Ixo, Premium-X, J-Collection and other PCT brands. Sometimes the tooling is made for the partwork first and then models from the PCT brands follow.
Norev, Eligor and Corgi are also regular suppliers of models to the partwork publishers. I believe some Minichamps tooling has also been used in one particular partwork.

It depends on which one and where you look. There are more then one Special C.
One has James Bond cars and Russian vehicles.
