Looking forward to Chicago next month. Here are some details.
It looks like Jeff Lane has put together a formidable 1/43 show at the Countryside Holiday Inn on Sat Mar 14. That hotel just went through a renovation and is looking great.
There's a dinner Friday night, organized by Tom Kinney and another one Saturday night, put together by Jeff. There will be a shuttle from the hotel to the dinner venue Saturday evening.
I'm currently working on my travel schedule and will very likely have a 1/43 table at that show.
For the show across the street on Mar 15, we will once again have the Forum 43 Hospitality booth. So far, The Amazing Amanda and the folks at Brooklin will be sending literature and some very special models. We'll also have Cappi's Brooklin Collector's Guide on hand. GLM will be sending prototypes again. We're hoping to hear from Sergio (I promise not to lose any models this year, Sergio!)and Auto Cult as well.
I'll keep bringing updates as they develop. Looks like it's going to be another great weekend.

For the first time, I will have my own table at Countryside.
John....are the models that were lost last time, the same type that are in your personal collection?
I am not trying to imply anything here!
😁😄😃😀😍
I wish! If that were so, I could have given the one model back to Sergio.
He's been an avid and gracious supporter of Forum 43 and the shows in Chicago.

Interesting to see what goodies you will have for sale.
TopMarques Rolls/Bentleys...Heco Bugattis...BBR Ferraris ...and other rarely seen exotica will be for sale at Jeff's show on the Saturday.
An acquaintance of mine is selling off a collection of high end, long out of production handbuilts.
I've had a good look at the stuff, and haven't been able to stop drooling since.
Fortunately, he let me buy the handful of pieces I just "had to have."
Heads-up if those kinds of models interest you...
.
I'll take a good look at the Top Marques in case there's a Bentley I need.
