I was rather surprised to see the low prices that the James Moloney Collection garnered at the Rail & Road Auction. I'm sorry I didn't participate! Many high end brands at bargain prices. Is this a portend of collection prices to come? (if anyone wants a link to the closed auction, PM me).

I bid on 2 items but I did see that most were unboxed and many had missing small parts.

@karl "missing parts"  will always result in lower selling prices.  😉

@chris, the lack of a box is always good for a 20% to 40% reduction as well. Put the two together, and you have an instant loser.

Sometimes losers are still useful for conversion plans or as parts donors - in my case it was the MM43 Duesie Murphy Speedster for $ 46.80.

Incl. shipping and import tax about 70.00  = 60.00 Euros 😉
