Luxury Diecast
Since I just bought one I thought I should check their
website. They have three new GM products, bottom of list.
Here is my complete list. Are there any others in 1/43?
MAKE MODEL BODY YEAR COST
Cadillac Obama Limo 2009 $39
Chevrolet Suburban W 2009 $25
Cadillac CTS-V 4 2010 $25
Cadillac Escalade W 2010 $25
Cadillac Converj C 2012 $25
Buick LaCrosse 4 2011
Cadillac CTS Sport Sedan 4 2011
Camaro SS Coupe H 2011
I must get the La Crosse.
I was born in La Crosse.............Wisconsin
There are different "series" there.
The Obama, CTS-V, Converj, Escalade and Suburban are Diecast and cheaper. Hummer H3, Corvette, and the new ones (you haven't listed the Town Car, the CTS wagon, the SRX) will be resin and at a higher price point. Apparently, the CTS-V sedan will also be redone in resin.
[PICS] I've just been having another look at the Luxury Diecast website.
I thought they were on their way out, with some dealers in the US and Model Car World in Germany both dumping them at less than half price, but it looks like they at least intend to keep trying, with a new "Platinum Series" in resin as well as the original diecasts. (How long before every model producer in the world gets into the "premium resin" business?).
For anyone interested, here are a few pictures I grabbed, just to save you hunting around.

Camaro (convertible version also done)

Lincoln Town Car (no, I didn't chop off the back end, this is their "sneak preview" of the prototype)

There was also a prototype preview of a quite highly detailed racing Cadillac with a complex rear wing and internal roll cage, shown on their Facebook page, but I think it may be 1:18. Not sure.
I can't quite figure what their overall theme is meant to be, though they do mumble something about "late and upper-echelon vehicles" making up their "Modern American Collection", but it looks like an odd ragbag of choices. And as with the first round of models (heavy-handed Presidential vehicles, smooth Cadillac sedans), it looks like a mixed bag in terms of refinement, the Hummer looks like an pull-back toy, but the Buicks and Cadillac wagon look crisp.
Still, for the collector, it all adds to life's rich ... blah, blah.....
p.s. Needless to say, this is not an Advertising Feature. Just bringing information to the huddled masses.

Any release date on that new model Camaro? I've been waiting for one.....
....Isn't Premium Diecast famous for issuing upcoming models notices and then never manufacturing them? Or am I thinking of someone else?
I don't know where my head is some days.....LOL. In any case, I am so hoping they actually do this new Camaro. I was cheering for a Green one, but will take any new model Camaro.
You mean Premium X. These are Luxury Diecast.
Albert, do they put these models out within reasonable time? Just wondering on the Modern Muscle....
....New Camaro model. Thanks for clearing it up for me.
What generation is this new Camaro coming?
Is it a 60's or 70's?
Sorry, The three I mentioned first are all 2011.
No release dates shown on the website.
The new models are shown as "sneak peeps" at work in progress.
The site is a little bit tricky to navigate as some models are shown as static images and others pop up on a rolling basis then disappear before you can get a good look.

So are you serious enough to collect Luxury?
We are serious people.
And we are just getting started.
Timing is everything
To the folks wondering about our release schedule let me advise that ALL of the items shown on our website are in final license approval stage or actually in production, as with the 5 just announced for November release. There will be a constant stream of additional colors and new toolings from here on out.
In only our 2nd year, Luxury is still coming around the first turn and just approaching full throttle.
Having been over a decade in this business as the exclusive export agent over the years for brands such as GMP, Carousel 1 and Jada Toys, I personally know all too well how important the fulfillment of release schedules is to the credibility of a brand. I intend to bring that understandiong to my task of Luxury product development at all times.
With that in mind we promise everyone on this forum that Luxury will always do it's utter best NOT to announce frivolously. We will announce what we intend to release, and we will work to release those announced models in a reasonable period of time. We will announce a project only when we are confident the project is going forward from a development, licensing and viability standpoint. We will not toy with the emotions of our colletor community. You are the reason we exist. We intend to repect that always.
Hold me to it!
