I posted this in the Lounge but Forum 43 is my usual port of call and maybe the same is true for some other folks so I am re-posting here.

(If you didn't think it was any good the first time around, you won't like it this time either. But that's just the risk we misunderstood geniuses have to live with).

I like it Graeme, but I think that it really belongs in the Lounge.

Yes, you're probably right. But I spent quite a while on Forum 43 before I ever went near the Lounge (which I thought far too frivolous for a serious-minded chap like myself) so I got into the habit of putting all my posts in this Forum.

If our Moderator wants to delete it here, it can sit in well-deserved obscurity amongst the lounge-lizard jokes and cartoons.

I see 1:43 scale models in there. I think we are good, IMHO.

Jeez Graeme I thought our collective Lounge offerings were almost Mensa material.  Very deep stuff.

I thought so too. But it appears that such delusions of intellectual grandeur may be evidence of a chronic disturbance of the mental faculties - possibly exacerbated in my case by the recent upward adjustment in my star rating which finally puts me within touching distance of the Forum megafauna.

Megafauna?

It's a kind of Mexican public-address system. Basically it lets you talk nonsense very loudly.

Megafauna

Ho yes, I'll have one of those, thank you very much.

See you back at the Lounge sometime.

Thanks for posting here Graeme. I don't go to the Lounge much since Sheila's passing. Just not as frivolous and fun as it used to be.

Graeme; you impress the Forumites with your knowledge of Mexican public communication systems as megafauna, but given your 4-Star rating I am not surprised.  As a modest yet self-impressed Noble Forumite member I would like to add that, from a Canadian perspective, the word you speak of also refers to any given year when there is a spike in the birthrate of deer in the northern hemisphere.

I've never clicked on the "Lounge".

Keep posting where ever you please Graeme.
