My 1971 Lincoln Mark III.  I did not have a chance to get this model when it was first issued, but recently found it at a great price from a European dealer.  I know nothing about GIM (related to GLM?).  Automodello also issued a 1971 Mark in 1/43.

I have some issues with the paint quality on this one but overall I’m pleased with the other details.  Adam over at Rare Classic Cars on YouTube has a fascinating history of the 1:1 1969-71 Mark III from it’s 4-door Thunderbird platform to its dramatic design evolution

Beautiful model. Appears to be put together very well - nice detailing!

GIM is a sub-brand of Matrix, owned by Jaap Van Dyjk.

This is a gorgeous car and for its size handled very sporty. I owned on for 15 years as a daily driver. I also own a green model in resin. Would love to get a white metal. The car I owned was med metallic green with white top and pearl white high back seats. I don’t have any of my photos but just found these quite remarkably.

@chazy-r, several years ago, Legendary Motor Cars released a Mark III. They were white metal and can be very hard to find.  Click here.

@jkuvakas Thanks John, I see it’s available in three variants. Hopefully it will come auction
