I previously mentioned that I was so impressed with the Matchbox Yesteryears 1913 Cadillac that I decided to disassemble one, strip and repaint it and add more details. I cut open the hood in order to install a miniature engine. Using pictures from the internet, I used brass tubing, small wires and anything else that I could find to reconstruct the engine. The engine is just about finished and I'm currently test fitting it to ensure the hood will still go over it. Here's a few pictures of the engine before I paint the engine parts..
This is an interesting project that seems to be going very well Ken. I'm looking forward to seeing the final result.
I really like what you're doing, and I appreciate both your time and skills. Well done! Please keep us informed on your progress.
