The Model X slots between the Duesenberg Model A and the J/SJ series. Only 13 chassis were built between 1926 and 1927, and some of them were scrapped or modified when E. L. Cord took over with his plans to build the J/SJ. This car, Chassis D95E, appeared at the 1927 New York Auto Show. Following extensive restoration work, the car received a class award at Pebble Beach in 2000, and was donated to the A-C-D Museum in 2014. This Matrix is the first Model X I recall seeing in 1:43.

I don't remember seeing that one in the ACD Museum but its been a while. Is it really that bright blue - very shocking! In a good way!

Part of it is my camera (it doesn't like blue depending on the overhead sky) and, yes, I think it should have been darker.
