Good Morning - After searching for quite some time I finally came across  one on Ebay , I was wondering if anyone knew anymore about these models then  the list and the book covered . Also any additional info on the 1932 Ford Highboy Roadster.    Thank You.

I do not see enough detail here to comment.  Can you supply an Ebay item number to research?

I already bought it , it is Motor City # 58   Dodge pickup, just wondering if anyone had back ground on it and the 1932 Ford High boy.  Thanks.

@mick, both models are relatively rare. The Dodge pickup was a MOC USA series in at least two colors, white and red and white and black.  if I remember correctly, the Rod was Design Studio. Prices on the rod have been all over the place. The pickup can be very precious.

Would love to see photos of the Highboy - I never knew MC (MOC) made that one!

Or is it the California Kid?  https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/catalog_items/ford-california-kid-1934

The steering is fixed, and the front axle is so weak I keep a small piece of foam under it to keep it from bending.

Thanks Indy!  A great highboy FORD!  Could I add it to hobbyDB - I don't see it any where online! 😎

BTW - I lived in  Indy for 29 years - are you there or just a fan?

Canada here, and the wife likes Indiana jones so the nick name.  As for Hobby DB, I do not have much info I think I bought from Design Studio late 90's early 2000 , John K most likely knows much more then I do about it.  Will try to post pics when I get it.  Small story behind it from seller will post that too when it arrives.

Both are extremely nice pickups ! The yellow of that one really stands out and it looks great.
