A selection of Mercury Comets.  Red seems to be a common color.

I grew up riding by this dealership; Comets were quite popular in my area of Braintree, Quincy and Weymouth MA.

I think they were doubled up and vertical on 1960 Edsels.  Check your Brooklin convertible.

You will be able to add Goldvarg's '64 Caliente HT this year as well!  I'm really looking forward to this one!

This the second color as stated at this early point in time....things could of course change.  My fave **colors for this car are Glacier Blue (lighter than the blue shown); Silver Turquoise Poly; Burgundy Poly.

Just as a side note; strangely enough I do not recall ever seeing Pink Frost Poly on a '64 Comet.

AND LASTLY:  I would love for Sergio to do this "Villager" version one fine day as well!

Any of the blues, palomino, fawn or yellow would be fine with me.  As to station wagons, I would like a non wood version.  Seems almost all the models are Squires or the like and not all wagons on the streets back in the day were wood sided.

There's a nice Colony Park and some Continentals sitting out there ! I'll never forget walking into a L&M dealership in 65 and wowing over the Continental on the showroom floor. In a few seconds a salesman came up to me was very friendly and we started talking about the car and he says you really like it don't you and I went yeah it's beautiful. He said if you have $50 in your pocket right now I'll sell it to you... ! What a great guy with a memorable visit.

John;

A family friend bought a new top of the line '64 Comet wagon (without the woody panels); it was the Glacier Blue (pale blue pastel) with dark blue interior.  It was a beautiful car and one that I would love to see done as well.
