Mercury in 1/43

Very cool and very comprehensive Fred!  😎 😎 😎    I have a few of those too.

Years ago, while collecting 1:1 cars, I saw many private collections - one car I'll never forget - the 20th Mercury ever produced; it was a 1939 black coupe.    As the owner removed the car-cover I swear I heard angles singing.   Apparently, the Merc. was once owned by Don Garlits (drag race fame ). 

My Minichamps represents "1950"  in my collection, also available in red.

BTW:  These are two 1:1 Mercury concept cars I WISH I owned!   The 1954 XM-800, and the 1956 XM-Turnpike Cruiser.

So, there are many gaps and I need to work to fill some of them.

@chris Not all Mercurys exist in 1/43 scale. Very difficult to find 70s- 90s models. Not sure that any manufacturer has ever made such models as Grand Marquis, Sable, Mountaineer etc. I'll try to complete a list of 1/43 Mercurys and hope that members of the forum will add something.

@fred-eliseeff I hear 'ya.... not "everything is available."    I too would love to have certain models, but they only exist, so far, as A.I. generated (by me ) pics.   

In your case, yes......   1/43 Sables & Mountaineers are ONLY available as 3-D files that you would need to print.  😔 

Fred, you have an exceptional collection there. The hunt for those elusive models is a big part of the fun for me. Get the ones you can and hopefully the stars will align for the others.😊

I think about Mercury very often looking for models in different enquires.

Goldvarg Collection produced 15 models of 50s- 60s Mercury. There are excellent models and I hope to find some of them.

I have watched recently the 1948 Sedan by Provence Moulage and Trax on ebay.

One guy from my city decided to get rid of his collection. He has got BRK 188 the 1954 Station Wagon. I hope to buy this one in foreseeable future.

What gorgeous Mercurys, all of them ! They make for a great display.
