I came across the milk truck model on line years ago and remember seeing these vehicles in my neighborhood growing up. In the Boston area and south shore we had Whiting and Hood dairies. My wife is from Hull MA so I had to buy this. A few years later we stumbled across the 1:1 of the same model.

I love these old Divco delivery trucks...great memories associated to them. Interesting to see a number of them being restored; often with upgraded drive train, interior and suspension.
The DIVCO and METRO are both iconic delivery vehicles and are both represented in my collection.

My memories are of the Biltmore Dairy trucks, with their distinctive dark yellow paint. And milk came in glass quart bottles. When all four of us boys were home, the milkman would just about fill the refrigerator! Good memories. Thanks, Frank.
After seeing the post above on milk vans and the John Mayal video, I was inspired to post this as an introduction to Milk Truck British style, well musically speaking. A number one hit here in the UK in November 1971 and preventing T-Rex from being the Christmas No.1. Hope you don't mind this little bit of British humour John. @d-m-holcombe. Good to see you posting again David. I was very worried when I heard that you were in the hospital. I hope that your recovery is going well and look forward to you getting back into the forum. Godspeed.
