Another gift from Santa was this nice ‘59 Jaguar Mark II by Minichamps. I had seen a Mark II at Donovan’s Motor Sports in Lenox, Massachusetts back in October and had mentioned it to my son as a car I really liked. He and Santa collaborated.

I have always liked the sporty Mark II sedan not only for its looks but for its handling. A coworker had one and let me drive it. David the model looks great.

Good looking model! I owned a similar 1:1 for a while many years ago. What I remember most is the electrical problems. But it had great handling!
