Folks, there are some familiar names nominated for the MCHOF this year. Check out the categories here

Here are some of the categories:

1/43-1/55 scale model - we're familiar with most of 'em. Two Brookins in the group.

Content Creator - I'm honored to be nominated and would appreciate your vote.

Model Car Dealer - TOYCARGEEK is up! He's a great dealer.

Model Brand of the Year - Autocult, KEss, and more

Model Car Historians - Mike & Sue Richardson are there

Model Car Entrepreneurs - Tom Roschman from Autocult & Jaap Van Dyjk from Matrix

Collector of the year - Mo Brown of the BCC is up

I am surprised Matrix is not nominated here because they issued for 2024 most of the best models with KESS being the other serious contender. As for the other nominees ......... money buys everything...

This being said, the CIBIE Brand which is a nominee brings me a lot of memories going back to the early 1970's. I had 2 sets of 7" Super Oscars installed on the front bumper of my 1970 Datsun 510 SSS (driving and fog lights). These were serious candle lights when appropriate on dark roads with no traffic.
