Here's an African classic. The Cold Storage Commission's (later Bulawayo Cold Storage Commission's) original 1947 Skokiaan, from Southern Rhodesia (when there was a Northern Rhodesia, too). The Everly Brothers claimed this was the first Rock 'n' Roll record they ever heard.
(because I cannot match Frank's knowledge of the blues!)

@mg-harv I have always loved the Business Coupe style and I think the Lincoln Zephyr is one of the best examples. A beautiful model you present.

@frank Excellent choice Frank, and a great video. One senses the USA had been through tough times and emerged by the late '30s and '40s, brimming with self confidence and youthful optimism.

Muddy Waters grew up on Stovall Plantation near Clarksdale, Mississippi, and by age 17 was playing the guitar and the harmonica, emulating local blues artists Son House and Robert Johnson.[5]He was recorded in Mississippi by Alan Lomax for the Library of Congress in 1941.
