Leave that awful roofrack off.

It doesn't look right.

And it needs w/w tires.

These are nice models. That 1985 T/A wears the optional 16" rims, first seen on the white/blue 15th anniversary 1984 Recaro T/As.....AND...it's one of the FEW times these rims have been replicated in ANY scale.

I'm still waiting for ANYONE to reproduce the more popular optional 15" T/A rims, first seen in 1984 (and also on my 1984 Trans Am H.O. 5.0 that I once owned ).  To my knowledge, these once ubiquitous rims have NEVER been reproduced in ANY scale.

There may have been a Radio Shack  R/C car that had these wheels??

Trans Am 84 1
Trans Am 84 2

@100ford2003 I agree that they need whitewall tires.  That's how I remember seeing them as a kid.

@100ford2003 Thanks. IMO, the very BEST color choice for these '84 T/As.

It seems the perfect match for all these silver factory graphics but especially the one-year-only sliver horizontal stripes that ride above the wrap-around ground effects. It also nicely matches the grayish-blue color cast into the reassesses of those factory slotted rims.

I hope that the pictures of the street 1969 Country Squire in green is an early production example. If you look closely at the 2nd picture of the green Country Squire (drivers side), you can't help but notice that the rear side window trim and rear back window trim are poorly fitted. This is highly unusual to see on a Matrix model as they usually have good quality control. I also agree that whitewalls would look better.

A child at the time, but I do not remember red/amber taillights on the ‘69 Ford LTD Country Squire wagons. Your thoughts.?

@kenspear I agree. I’m guessing since these have an August release date (or later), these are likely early prototypes.

There is a partworks Fiero that has wheels that are close. Best of Show also has a Fiero with better wheels but they are a bit small.

@culture Yes, "close"  but good to know. I was unaware of this model. 🤔

They never were as I remember either, and I'm old enough. Maybe it's a European version.
