More of the little people. (pics)

As you may have noticed over the years, I like to use some little people with my models. A few days ago I received another packet of them from China (eBay for just a few dollars), and they looked like this:

Well, this is just a few of them. There were different poses, but all were simple white plastic. So I've been having some fun.

Oops! One old guy with his camera appeared twice. Well, maybe he's a twin? Figures are often repeated in these inexpensive lots.

I'm not very good at close details, so I rationalize that these figures are not meant to be seen at close range. At three feet they're fairly realistic! The bases that I add are just little bits of clear plastic rescued from the kitchen trash can. Very few of them stand up unassisted.

So I decided I have too many, or at least enough. And then a few days ago one of the honored forum members showed a picture of a sedan with four passengers aboard, and it looked good! Seated figures are a little harder to find, but when you check for railroad stations, they're all over the place. So now I'm awaiting another small packet from China.

*Just a note. There are much more detailed, pre-painted, realistic figures available. I have some of them. But that kind of figure comes at a price. Be aware.
