More on the Western vs. AMR Century '86 Corvette Pace Car

I've had a chance to check my old records. I had the Western (#WP114) - it was No. 2 0f 500. I got mine aftermarket in August 1989, but my records show it was introduced in 1986, not long after the race. I seem to recall there may have been an earlier C4 Corvette in the Western line-up, but I could be wrong. It definitely had the "feel" of a Western, not an AMR product. I also seem to recall both Western and Century were available concurrently. My opinion is they were two distinct castings.
