Long ago I posted these pics of the five Hawks I have in my collection - L to R they are Corgi, Dinky, Dinky by Matchbox, Solido, and Yatming.
Since taking those pics, a couple more have made their way into my collection. Corgi made a 'gold'-plated version in the 1960s, which I found at an estate sale in 2011. Corgi took that 'Golden Hawk' appellation seriously!
My latest is a color and wheel variation of the green/beige Dinky I found in a hobby shop in the 1960s. It cost considerably more from a Vectis auction last year.
Finally, though not a diecast but a white metal model, here's the Conquest '56 Golden Hawk from 2015 in Tangerine and Snowcrest White, or, inthis neck of the woods, Orange Bowl-winning University of TN Volunteers orange and white.
Nice: The beige parts of the green and beige one is just a few shades of red short of perfection.

A fine looking series of Hawks, Harv. Thanks for sharing. The dark beige/red
Dinky 169 is new to me.
Nice set of Hawks. I have only have one of them, the Conquest tangerine and white one.

Really nice Studebakers ! The Hawks are good-looking cars and make for fine models. I am happy to have two 1/43 and also a 1/18 models of this one.
Nice: The beige parts of the green and beige one is just a few shades of red short of perfection.
I wonder if there is an actual medical term for what you are suffering from JK....I sincerely hope so.
I really liked these two Dinky Toy colors back when I was a kid; had both and of course ruined them. I have them again in my collection.
Harv, what a great collection of treasures. Those Studebaker Hawks were beautiful cars in their day and those Dinkys were considered replicas despite some of the color schemes. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
