Morris Bullnose restoration (pic)

I just had a most enjoyable half hour, watching the "Morris Bullnose restoration" film on YouTube in 4 parts. This little film is a dream of the old days when a wreck could be found in a junk yard and restored by an amateur (with the help of friends). A silent film format, this one left me with a grin on my face and a new appreciation for my little Matchbox Yesteryear Morris Bullnose.

Matchbox Yesteryear No. 8 1926 Morris Cowley "Bullnose" with rumble seat (the film Bullnose is a convertible.)

Lovely little model! Haynes Museum in Sparkford has what is believed to be one of the first 12 built - just the chassis with engine, radiator and wheels. It's totally original and if the provenance can be proved this would mean it was built by William Morris himself. Unfortunately the Bullnose is not on display to the public but in the workshop. We saw it when visiting the museum to measure the forthcoming 1938 Oldsmobile sedan. Sparkford do have another Bullnose on display. This is a fairly early 2 seater tourer.
