Motorcity USA rebirth?
A friend who attended the recent Toledo Toy Show told me that an individual (from California? )has acquired the castings of MotorCity USA models and has produced new versions of the 56 Dodge 2 dr. hardtop and 56 Dodge Sierra station wagon (the wagon was never produced by the original MC and so would be a new casting). Both were quite expensive - 595.00? Anyone have information on this?

Don't know about the hardtop, but contact Greg Gunn re: the wagon.

It was my understanding that the hardtop was cast by Brooklin.
Does anyone know for sure?

Wow, if Brooklin would make the 56 Dodge 2 door hard top in. It is one of my favorites but I really can't afford the original 500 plus dollars. Yes it was or is a very nice model but 250.00 is about my max and even then it is kind or a stretch.

If you shop around, you can find the original MOC '56 Dodge HT for less than $400.
