John,
Having just undergone eye surgery myself following hemorrhaging inside my left eye , I can totally relate. I was blind from that eye for nearly 3 months before the decision was made to go ahead with the surgery. The good news at my end is that I was spared the infection and that my vision is slowly recovering. I join my prayers to the others for a speedy recovery.
