And yes: once the BAT9 was painted red. I will try to find the pictures, but I've read an article in Classic &Sports Cars by myself. That's why I do have it in my collection

1/43 MATRIX 1956 ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA SPIDER BY BERTONE⁠

Alfa tasked both Pininfarina and Bertone to design a Spider to respond to Max Hoffman's request for an open top for the US market.  Pininfarina won that deal and this Bertone design set undiscovered for years until Corrado Lopresto found it and restored it.  Unbelievably I saw it in his collection eight years ago!

Here is the winning design from Pininfarina, Brooklin white metal, in the Giulia Spider version (very slight trim differences):
