Other than 1/43 clear plastic slot car bodies, I can’t think of any. I did hear of plans to replicate the 1940 clear body Pontiac displayed at the 1939 New York World Fair but never saw the actual model. You are very fortunate to have this Art Model, David.
Interesting model. A very nice way to show the components of a car. I still remember a plastic model airplane kit from late 1950’s or early 1960’s made by Monogram Models, which did something similar. It was a 1/32 scale P-51 Mustang, called the Phantom Mustang. With clear plastic fuselage, wings, etc. you could see internal components.

I have seen clear plastic in other scales but don't remember one in 1:43.
You and Karl are right; I know of only the 1/24th Franklin Mint 1967 Corvette in half clear acrylic and red paint on the other half. They also did a stock car model in clear.
David, I like your model. Like Tony, I have the Corvette in half clear/half painted in 1/24 scale.
