This is a car I have in my collection which was not recorded in my inventory. Nice car, appears to be a Mini Marque but bottom plate says different, and also indicates it is a '53.  Any i.d. help much appreciated and Thank you. Here she be:

Steve, your model appears to be of the Packard Pan-American concept car.

Check out the transparent steering wheel!

Dale Dannefer had this model made by Milestone/43rd Avenue:

It was one of two cars made in this Packard retro-concept series.

Thank you all for your responses and especially to Karl Schnelle whose reference to the MAR online article that "hit the nail on the head".

If any of you are into model car history MAR online is indispensable and this article concerning the Packard is a perfect example. The KD on the baseplate is explained as is the year 53 where the same base plate was likely used for both Packards. Much more history was packed into the link as well.

The Link again:     https://www.maronline.org.uk/143-accuracy-in-white-metal-from-the-turn-of-the-century-part-1/

And Thanks again to you for locating the article Karl.

@stewil You are welcome, Steve -  great photos.  I will add them to hobbyDB and link back to the MAR article, if that is OK...

@stewil Interesting model.......... it was never a real show car done by Packard. Very confusing with the PanAmerican.

The box reminded me that I also had the coupe, and here it is, on display with two other Grand Touring beauties.
