Name that car!

What car is this?

You guys were pretty sharp on the last one, a 1937 Lincoln Touring Cabriolet with body by Brunn.
This one is in the Henry Ford Museum.

Pierce Silver Arrow of 1933? No, I checked & I'm wrong.

The tail light just isn't the same.

With those headlights it has to be a Lincoln K series, perhaps a special bodied car.

The second photo -Lincoln K body by Brunn 1938

Very similar bodies were put on other great cars of the period, including Packard, by Brunn Coachworks of Buffalo, New York.

The second car is not the same as the first one

I posted the second picture to show the complete car from yesterday's posting (#3974). The first picture in this posting is for today's contest.

Winner gets free kudos from 'Haadquarters'! Get enough kudos and you can trade them in for an 'attaboy'.

Ed, the Zephyr did not appear until 1937.

I have the Matchbox '38 conv. comes in a nice presentation box, it's listed as a 1936, the car pictured on the box is a '39 and the model is a '38! Must have been a compartmentalized committee working on that one.

Actually the first Zephyr was a 1936, it intro'd in mid-1935.

I stand corrected. Learned something new today. I did a Google search and am very surprised the Zephyr was introduced in '35! Light years ahead of GM at the time and better looking than the Airflow in my opinion.

A very quick reaction to the Packard 120.

Someone must have been peeking through the fence in Utica.

Have to confess I "aquired" your license plate John in my other post. This picture shows 19144 not 63260.No prizes for me but I enjoyed the detective work.Cannot find any 1/43 models of 36 Zephyr.

The Zephyr juxtapositioned with the '80s Taurus is a little hard to handle...

I think my stomach is a little upset now. ๐Ÿ™‚

Fun game!
