How am I supposed to re-create the finish of the 1966 LeMans race in 1/43 if there is no #5 3rd place diecast?
I have the #2 winner, and the #1 2nd place car is readily available, but the only diecast #5 cars I am able to find
are either 1/32 or 1/18. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ixo made all 8 cars. The No. 5 car is Ixo LMC110, made in 2009. Happy hunting! Then again, it's almost inevitable that Spark will do all of them - they are on a tear with every other GT40.

I received a 1966 GT40 #5, third place LeMans finisher. It is by Bang. A number of detail issues make it not a great model IMHO. I have been watching for the IXO w/ no success, and maybe
Spark will come through.

Check out the "Gurney Bubble": it is a semi-globe with a recess in the middle.

Congrats on the #5 Bang! At least it fills in the hole now. Bangs were good value when they came out years ago (pre-Spark and Ixo...).
