Neo 1960 Buick in dark blue
Does anyone have an extra of the Buick Electra in dark blue? I didn't remember to buy one when they were easily available just a few weeks ago. Please email me at dcrowe4 at windstream dot net if so. I will be more than pleased to give the standard board auction fee to the proper authorities if I buy as a result of this post. Thanks.
I know Pasteiners Autozone in Birmingham Mi has a black one in stock
I was not aware of a dark blue one ever issued.
Mark
Thanks, Mark.
I believe the dark blue one was the limited edition for Neo or American Excellence or one of their in house divisions.
Who is running Autozone now, Eric? I haven't been there in years. Back during the heyday of press kits from the Detroit Auto Show, it was fun to go there and see what they had just gotten in. Seems like the other brother was Steve but he has been gone a while.
Steve still runs it, his dad stops in now and then. Have not found any store in the Detroit area more dedicated, knowledgeable or willing to model locate model cars than Pasteiners Autozone.
1/43 scale stock has grown especially Neo and Spark.
Mark
Pasteiners had a blue one in stock last time I was there.
Steve's e-mail is azautozone "at" aol "dot" com
Thanks, Mark. They're sold out now.
I have the dark blue and it is a Model Car World LE of 500.
Must have been popular because the black one doesn't appear on the MCW site either. I see it is now available in light metallic blue with a white roof.
Grand Prix Models shows the black one...
as being available but, not in stock, with a 4 to 6 week delivery time if ordered. You still see them occasionally on eBay.
