Dear Diecast Zone friends,

I want to share with you the photos of the 1950 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Deluxe 4 Door Sedan

first prototype. Colors will be GC-060 A 1950 Color Mist Green & GC-060 B Color Moonlight Cream. The Mist Green will have the Sunvisor. We still need to work on some details, for example, the steering wheel position. I see that my dear friend John Kuvakas was faster than me in showing this model!!!!

I'm looking forward to this one. Early 1950's Chevrolets, Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles have for the most part been overlooked. I'm especially pleased that this is a 4 dr sedan and a fastback to boot. It is very representative of what was in the average American's driveway in the early '50s. A 4 dr green Chev like the one you are making was the first car that I remember riding in. Very similar to our family car. Ours even had a sunvisor.

Beautiful ! Both colors are superb and the details are excellent. A four-door sedan style version of this era Chevrolet was in my family so many years ago. This is my Uncle Ron and his wife Shirley posing by the car back in that time.

Sergio, this Chevrolet and the Buick are both home runs!

Spotted one of these in a local museum a year ago but that one was a Fleetline Special,  not a Deluxe.  Goldvarg seems to have gotten the color spot on.

I agree!  Nice to see the trim variation within the 2 colors as well.  I must have both.
