Fellow collectors,
I think GLM has once again hit it out of the park with these new 1963 Hawks.
They are painted in four factory authentic colors limited to 75 pieces each, only available from Tom Dirnberger at dirn44@ gmail.com, or Dale Dannefer at dxd79@case.edu. Suggested retail is $129. each, but forum readers can purchase for $119 and free shipping.

MAN! You're not kidding. Those scripts, emblems, wipers, etc... all very nice! 1/43 just gets better & better! 😀
Really beautiful 1963 Studebaker GT Hawks. Each color is wonderful and Studebaker did a fantastic job of renewing and upgrading their 1953 coupe. This model sure shows it off exceptionally well !
I agree, Mike. Probably one of the best redesigns ever.

Was your solution to buy one of each color? Looking at the pictures you will get a nice set of models.

I received the Champagne last week and it is a home run. When I look back over the years I have been collecting, never did I ever envision the day we would see the quality models being produced today in 1/43 scale. These models literally are shrunken down 1/1 images. Never has picking a favorite color been so difficult but a fun challenge.
Bob, you are correct, the detail in today’s 1/43 scale model cars, both white metal and resin, is excellent.

Bob, I agree completely. Years ago, I'd see 1/43 models in magazine ads and at hobby stores but just couldn't understand the attraction. To me, better than 90% of them looked like "caricatures" of cars. If I had seen then, the 1/43 replicas I see now....undoubtedly my entire collection would look vastly different.
not really, I found an easier solution!
LOL.....I went with the Green Mist color; the blue was a very close second but green is a color which needs more presence in my display cabinet and IMO this particular shade of metallic green is very attractive.
