This one is beautiful guys and it is part of a fundraiser to raise money for Tunnel 2 Towers for 9/11 first responders and families.

There is also a drop top version available.

There aren't a whole lot of new white metal model offerings these days, so grab one now.

These should sell out fast.

See it here..... https://store.route66modelcarstore.com/19fihtbycotu.html

Beautiful.  I have the D/M 1/24 in these colors.  Otherwise, I'd be interested.

They are GORGEOUS models. I am surprised that Buz still has some. It was supposed to be a LE of 10, I added my pair back in March of this year.

1956 DeSoto Fire Flite Hdt Cnv P4

I adjusted the ride height on both of my models-they sat a tad bit too low.

@jcarnutz How did you adjust the ride height?

@ed-davis

OK, I have several methods depending on the model and how it is made.  I try to use a way that can be reversed if necessary. I just started notating in my database the method used, and for this model I did briefly indicate it. I used square toothpicks, trimmed to fit within the axle housing, that keeps the model's axle down at the bottom of the channel. Square toothpicks usually fit snuggly but can be wrapped with Teflon tape if more bulk is needed. Unfortunately, I don't recall exactly what I did. Sorry, the memory is not all that it used to be. Other methods I've used is small gauge wire, metal axels from my old model building days, metal washers-either whole or halved-this method usually requires some gluing (which is a last resort) I've probably used others, it just depends on how the model is assembled. Toothpicks are my 1st choice as it is the easiest method.

What a superb-looking DeSoto ! These white metal replicas are in great colors, too.I have a DeSoto of this vintage, but in 1/64 scale.

I got the hardtop a few months ago. I had the convertible from Buz a couple years ago so I now have the set.

@whodeytink Mark, I too have the DM hardtop and convertible in these colors along with Buz' models. These colors are real stand outs IMO.
