All 1/43 collectors know the classic, red 1961 Brooklin Chevy Impala, but I didn't want the run of the mill. I had the amazing and talented Fred Lewis do this white metal beauty in Black with a Gray interior. Most of you know the detail Fred puts into his customs. Enjoy this black beauty. I still have this treasure in my collection. It won't go anywhere until I go to the afterlife. Ha!

The black really makes the chrome and the lights pop out!  😎

Beautiful model Patty. Mine is still red but a late friend scraped it and turned it into a gem. The details really stand out on your black one.

It looks really nice in black and detailed.  The standard Brooklin is one model that screams out for detailing.

Model looks great in black with the enhancements by Fred Lewis. I only have one Fred Lewis detailed model, which also looks great. I have wondered how they scrape those long lines and do it so neatly. Beyond my modeling skills.

@jack-dodds I agree Jack. The basic Brooklins are a picture waiting to be finished.

That is a superb-looking 1961 Chevrolet Impala, Patty ! I have a red edition diecast by SunStar in 1/18 and these beauties look wonderful in any scale.

Great looking enhanced Impala and beautiful work by Fred. As a contrast, I enhanced the Impala without skirts in aqua. Photos attached for your review. Regards, Chuck

@parisi50 I dunno - if you're dressed in black, a skirt is the way to go! 🙄 😉 😀

It is such a beautiful Chevrolet car that I like both with and without wheel skirts. It handles many exterior colors with ease, too.
