At the end of last year, Route 66 Models issued a brand new body style of the '61 Plymouth series of models from Highway Travelers.
Joining the Belvedere Sedan, Fury Hardtop Coupe & Convertible is this amazing Station Wagon. Had I been around in 1961 to buy a car, the Plymouth would have been the last one I considered, if I looked at it at all. Today, and for the last 10 years or so, they fascinate me and I am always thrilled to see one at a car show (although very seldom)
If I recall, the model was issued in three colors. I chose this one because to my eyes, the blue just accented the style the best.

John; I feel the same way about this car. I really disliked it in '61 as a kid but in recent years I have come to find its styling intriguing. Like you I have the wagon (in coral/pale grey), the 2drht. (copper/white) and the convertible (light blue top up). I passed on the sedan but you got it didn't you?

John, you expressed my sentiments exactly and I was 21 when this 1/1 came out. Today I have all four versions of the 61 Plymouth model and like all of them.
