I see several new models on eBay. There was discussion at an earlier time of inaccuracies in the prototype model. I was wondering if anyone has looked at the new images to determine if the production models have been improved. I'm a fan of the 69s but I don't have as keen an eye for accuracy as some of you do. Any thoughts?
I have two pre-ordered and since they are just available, I should have them very soon.

@jcarnutz What colors did you choose John? That purple shade, Chateau Mauve Metallic, is my choice.....something very different!

These are much improved over the prototypes shown on their website.
I will be ordering momentarily.

I will definitely share when they arrive. I am doing much better, still a couple of things to deal with but remaining optimistic.

@jcarnutz That's great news, John. You had an awful ordeal from what you described. Take care of yourself.
@lloyd-mecca Thanks for the feedback! Now I need to make a color choice.

Ive been waiting over forty years to own a Cadillac in the whimsical shade of Chateau Mauve Firemist.
I will now settle for one in 1/43.
@daveg thanks for the pics, Dave. Question, is the gold car a greenish shade? I've seen so many pics where it looks more green, which I actually prefer.

Hi Mark! Yes it is. It is a very unique color that is difficult to capture in a photo. It is, however, less green than a lot of the green/golds that were so prevalent in the 60's. I did not have an interest in that color until I saw it in person; Stamp picked three winning colors for this release!
This model was originally supposed to be Shalimar Gold Poly, but they switched to Palmetto Green Poly for production.
On my monitor, the photo below of the 1:1 is a good representation of the color on the model:
