No, not Max Kernick's Top Marques, but a relative newcomer that also makes the GP Replicas brand.
I saw the 1:1 in Atlanta during their Dream Cars at the High exhibit.
Ferrari enlisted Pininfarina to design a car using a 512 S chassis. Italian designers were trying to produce the lowest, wedgiest car possible during this period, resulting in the Lancia Stratos Zero by Bertone and the Alfa Carabo, also by Bertone. The Modulo stands a mere 37 inches high. Access to the space age interior was by a sliding roof (including the windshield).
Nice presentation Harv. It certainly does not look like a Ferrari 512 S. I'm not sure that I could even get in it now. Quite a study on low drag.Good information!
As an aside, I'm pleased that Forum 43 is all of a sudden super active. The down side for me is I'm holding off posting to Le Mans and Formula 1 until things slow a little as there is too much effort to have it go off the lead page after only an hour or less. I'll add to the Jaguars shortly. In the meantime, there is lots of interesting stuff here thanks to you, and many others, some members returning that I remember from the old site.
I bought one, too. I don’t normally collect Ferraris but this was weird enough for my oddball interests.
