@jkuvakas I received an email from Burbank House of Hobbies about it. They only had 4 coming to them so I jumped on it. I'm not sure who else might have them but I think they will sell out fast. It's such a beautiful color on that car.

WRONG! Being the "1959 Cadillac expert" that I am I can tell you that Cadillac never offered pink as a factory color in 1959.
Most pink 1959 Cadillacs are actually painted in a 1956 ('57) factory-Cadillac-color called Mountain Laurel.....which looks pink.
Yes, yes... in 1959 Cadillac Dealers would certainly do just about anything to ensure customer satisfaction, therefore it's entirely possible a new '59 Cadillac drove off a Dealer's lot wearing "a pink dress." But it wasn't factory.
For 1959, Cadillac did offer Wood Rose (wood rose Poly ) but it's darker than that '59 Cadillac (from Volo ) shown above.

@chris Here's the '59 Caddy color chart....looks like all the GM pink shades were metallic (poly). Good to know this but personally it wouldn't slow me from buying the one subject of this post...it shows very well. Like you say Chris, there would of had to be very many requests for pastel pink as a special order. Also, I suppose that there may be a small chance that the actual model is in fact Wood Rose Poly.....we have been tricked by model pics before. Lol

@jack-dodds Correct. My examples match Wood Rose Poly.... not that car from Volo (unless they used some funky lighting ).

..... correct! There's only about 4 things in life I'm certain about, and two of them involve 1959 Cadillacs. LoL 😀 😀

@chris Hehehe. Yeah, I knew the color was not what was in the picture their German source supplied. I do like Wood Rose Poly so I'm good with it.

Here's a video of a 59 in Wood Rose in sunlight. The bright natural light brings out the color better. Nice color, to me

Yes, I like it too....kind of a watered-down Persian Sand. My '59 CDV was Gotham Gold (yellow ) which I did not like - and it's why I sold it. A decision I regret.....
