Newest member of my woodie community, a 1946 Delahaye 135 GUILLORE BREAK DE CHASSE. is #33 of 80 models produced by MA Collection#117. When I received this model it was in one piece and as soon as I lifted it's clear plastic lid from the base it's parts started to rain off it. I honestly don't know why this didn't happen from the postal handling. The glue was totally brittle. Twenty parts later and some Formula 560 canopy glue I got it together again. Should be fine now. BTW Formula 55 is the only glue I will use as when dried if the parts are bumped into hard enough they usually stay with the model and and at least you don't loose them. The glue has a certainly elastic quality to it. I think this is a very unique car which is swoopy like other Delahaye's. I understand that this car was made by Delahaye for a French race car driver as a gift. The real car was at Pebble Beach in 2001. A nice addition to my European "woodies".

Where is F55 Glue available?
Ma Collection.....
A number of my MA Collection models, are losing their photo etched moldings. Don't know why. They are 25 years old, but this is not happening with other brands. I think these may have been made by Brianza. Not sure. Disappointed in this problem.
A very unusual and stylish wagon Curtis.
I want one!!!
When I searched I only found Formula 560. Same stuff Curtis?
+1.

I love that design. Beautiful model too.
Same problem with MA Collection models
I got rid of mine years ago because of that issue.

I didn't realize that psychedelics were apparently in use in France in the 1940s!
(Very nice model!)

Yes Harvey, 560, my typo,sorry.
Yes, they must have used a glue that wasn't up to snuff but believe me the canopy glue Formula 560 won't have this problem.
Love it!!! It's an outstanding model
