Interesting, Renato, and good pictures. Forgive me for my lapse of memory, but what is "GFCC"?
(later) Since I was curious, I did a little digging. Here's a bit of what I found:
Registered as a brand of Tongbo Toys in 2017.
Graeme Ogg (MAR on-line), a few years ago, wrote
"… a new toymaker calling themselves GFCC Toys. Their official registered name seems to be Tongbo Toys Co Ltd, based in Albany, New York. and I’ve read that they are a toy and sports equipment marketing outfit rather than a model manufacturer, but apart from that I don’t know anything about them or what their intentions are in the 1:43 field. The models are produced in – surprise – China."
Okay, now I know that GFCC is a Chinese company with a US connection. I found a GFCC products listed on the web with prices in the $35 range, plus mailing from China. I looked over their pictures and decided to wait a while and examine one belonging to someone else.
(later) Probably I should just erase this entry, but the saga continues. Looking up GFCC, I turned to that fine Hobbydb source, an old standby for model information. Yes, GFCC was listed, along with some pictures. Surprise! One of those pictures was taken by me and posted on, I think, this forum in its earlier format. So I turned to my display area and, eventually, found this:
Surprise! It's a neat looking diecast version of the Cadillac. No windshield wipers, but other details are pretty darned good. I just may look further into these GFCC models.
(even later) Found this one! Perched in a display unit, this Studebaker often brings a little smile when I look at it. Today, for the first time in a while, I took it down. Yes, another GFCC. I must have found them on sale somewhere. Here's my model, and then a professional picture of the 1:1 for comparison.
It looks like they have upped their game regarding more realistic wheels.
